OK so for the NOT meeting Rosie story.
So you know how there are these cruises called 'R Family Vacations aka the Rosie Cruises? Well there happens to be one going on right now and they are traveling the northeast NY to Saint John, New Brunswick to BAR HARBOR, MAINE!!! Rosie O'Donnell was in town today now normally we Maine folk don't give a rat's ass about all the who's who crap. I have waited on Ann Curry from the TODAY show, Susan Surandon and Tim Robbins, and I've met scads of authors. I really didn't care they are all just people, most of them have more money in their checkbooks at this very second then I will ever earn total in my lifetime but they are people just the same.
Rosie, though for some reason was different I REALLY, REALLY wanted to meet her. I waited and waited and waited with our adorable little dog Quinn but I didn't see her. I went and ran some errands and I get a call on my cell from someone that they just met her. AGGGGHHHH!!! So I drive around these crazy mobbed streets and I spot her on the sidewalk with a group of people, I turn around as fast as I can but, she vanishes poof! Rosie is NOWHERE to be seen for the rest of the day :(
I feel like Tweety Bird "I thoght I saw a Rosie. I DID! I DID see a Rosie" Only for me it wasn't a bad thing.

So that's what you were doing today... skipping out on the stuff you were supposed to be doing in hopes of meeting Rosie. Trust me, she was a hot, tired mom dragging a bunch of hot, tired kids around Bar Harbor. They all looked like they could have used a vacation from their vacation. Except that personal assistant gal. She looked flawless.
